Even the smallest house can benefit from a good-looking fence and smart gates, and your security and privacy will be improved too. There are so many styles of fencing available too – from a small picket fence to 6 foot high panels – and you can also incorporate garden features such as seating and arches.
I offer a full quality fencing service and can advise you on the best type of fencing and materials to suit your needs and location. Whether you have one fence panel to replace or a whole garden to do, give me a call on 07841 622484 to discuss your requirements.
Dean’s Top Tips for Fencing:
1. Make sure the holes for your fence posts are deep enough – at least two foot in depth for tall panel fences, possibly more in very windy areas. Too shallow and you risk the posts moving and the whole fence blowing over in strong winds.
2. Make sure the holes for your fencing posts are square. Round holes give scope for movement.
3. I recommend a 4″ x 4″ post for a standard garden gate – even bigger for a wider driveway gate.
